A yacht holiday from Monaco is a private charter — usually a week — where the yacht is your home, your restaurant, your beach club and your view. A representative Monaco yacht holiday itinerary

Day 1 — Monaco → Villefranche. Board at Port Hercule mid-afternoon, gentle cruise around Cap-Ferrat, anchor for aperitif and dinner on board in the Villefranche caldera.

Day 2 — Cap-Ferrat and Beaulieu. Morning at anchor for swimming and watersports off Paloma Beach, tender to lunch ashore, afternoon repositioning to a quiet cove west of Beaulieu.

Day 3 — Cannes and the Îles de Lérins. Morning cruise to Cannes, tender to shore for shopping on La Croisette, afternoon at anchor between Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat.

When to take a Monaco yacht holiday

Peak (July, August). Warmest water (24–26°C), busiest coast, highest yacht rates. Book six to nine months ahead.

Shoulder (June, September). Water still warm (21–24°C), quieter anchorages, better yacht availability, softer pricing. September in particular is a favourite of returning charterers.

Bookend (May, early October). Cooler swims (18–20°C) but excellent cruising conditions and off-peak pricing. May includes Monaco Grand Prix week — plan around it, not through it, if you're on holiday rather than for the event.

Event overlaps. Monaco Grand Prix (late May), Cannes Film Festival (mid-May), Monaco Yacht Show (late September). If a yacht holiday overlaps these weeks, expect 30–100% price premiums and heavier port congestion.

Yachts for a Monaco yacht holiday
