Why charter during the Show
The Monaco Yacht Show is the industry's most concentrated week. Every major shipyard, brokerage house and design studio is present, and the yachts on display are the newest and most notable builds in the world. For clients considering a build, a purchase or simply serious about understanding the market, a chartered yacht moored inside Port Hercule becomes a natural base — a short walk from the Show floor, private for meetings, and staffed to entertain morning through evening.
Not every yacht is available
The yachts physically on display at the Show are, by definition, not available for charter that week. The yachts we arrange during Show week are those moored elsewhere in the harbour or in the adjacent quays — often owner-approved for a specific hosting purpose rather than a conventional charter. Availability is genuinely limited, and the strongest yachts are confirmed months in advance. Rates during Show week reflect this scarcity and are quoted event-week, not regular season.
How the week is used
Some clients treat the yacht as accommodation and a private meeting space, working the Show by day and hosting quietly by night. Others host groups aboard for lunches, drinks and evening dinners tied to specific meetings on the Show floor. A yacht is also a natural venue for shipyard presentations, designer walk-throughs and brokerage introductions held privately away from the crowds ashore.
What we handle
Yacht selection, berthing subject to confirmation, provisioning to a specific brief, transfers to and from Nice, and any private hosting arrangement on board. Show passes, VIP badges and preview access are separate from the charter and are handled directly with the Show and its partners. Where a client is genuinely evaluating a new build or purchase, we can also make discreet introductions to the appropriate shipyard representatives and brokers.
Planning
Serious enquiries typically begin in the spring of the same year; the strongest yacht-and-berth combinations are usually confirmed by early summer. Late enquiries can still be handled, particularly for shorter portions of the week, but the choice narrows quickly.
